2026 Trade Show Planning: ISPO and SUPERZOO for Apparel Sourcing Teams
A factual preview of the official 2026 event schedules, their different audiences and how sourcing teams can prepare useful supplier conversations.

Two events with very different sourcing relevance
ISPO serves the international sports, outdoor and winter-sports ecosystem, making it directly relevant to technical apparel and material teams. SUPERZOO is a North American pet-retail trade show; its apparel connection is mainly pet clothing, textile accessories and lifestyle products rather than human outdoor garments.
A company should therefore evaluate each event against its real product capability before presenting it as part of a market strategy. Event attendance, exhibiting and new-product launches should only be described after they are confirmed.
ISPO 2026 moves to Amsterdam
According to the official ISPO programme, the 2026 event is scheduled for 3–5 November at RAI Amsterdam. The first day is planned as the ISPO Leaders’ Summit, followed by two exhibition days on 4–5 November.
For apparel sourcing teams, the event can be used to track material innovation, product-development priorities and changing expectations across outdoor, winter-sports and sporting-goods markets. Buyers should prepare a focused list of categories and supplier questions rather than treating the show as a general trend tour.

SUPERZOO 2026 focuses on the pet industry
The official SUPERZOO schedule lists education sessions beginning on 11 August 2026 and exhibition dates from 12–14 August at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. The World Pet Association presents the event for pet-industry buyers, retailers, manufacturers and suppliers.
Its sourcing value for an apparel team depends on whether the business has an established pet-clothing or textile-accessory programme. Without that capability, the event should not be presented as equivalent to an outdoor-apparel trade show.
Prepare meetings around decisions, not introductions
A useful event meeting should establish the product category, target market, launch date and main sourcing challenge before samples are exchanged. Brands can share a short brief in advance, while suppliers can select relevant materials and development examples.
- Target product and intended activity
- Desired material or construction direction
- Expected quantity and delivery window
- Testing, certification and market requirements
- Next action after the event and responsible contact
Keep event communication factual
Before publishing an event recap, confirm attendance dates, booth details, products shown and photographs. Separate official programme information from first-hand observations, and avoid attributing buyer comments to a show unless they were actually recorded there.
This article is a planning preview based on organizer information available before the events. It does not state that HENGJUE is exhibiting at either show.
